ScaryMary came to be in 1986. The daughter of an incredible artist Master of Art, Sebastian Domenico. She realized her talent when she was 10 drawing cards for her family members for all occasions, with animal characters. Encouraged to be creative, she continued to pursue art in her spare time, but she was discouraged to study art in the Universities, although offered an art scholarship in high school. Her father said, "You're too creative, and art schools will destroy that in you!" She became "SCARYMARY" while pursuing her MASTER's degree in Nutrition at FSU. During her many years of study, the artist maintained her money, by organizing "Orange dog" a business of showing and selling hand-painted T-shirts on the green, of campus. The sale of these hand painted designs from orange dog, to clowns with weapons, bad girls, and psycho dollies, vampires, and good dogs, maintained a good living for the Master's student. After graduation with an MS degree in Nutrition, SCARYMARY pursued her ART career, never using her degree! She sold her art and sang in her bands, a go-getter in the underground scene of New Orleans, NYC and then Miami! In NYC she sold her T-shirts in the Broadway market with other venders. In NOLA she sold in the French Market, and her band Fatal Beauties. She was written up in the tabloids wherever she went! Even in Buenos Aires Argentina! In Miami, She Reigns as the Queen of Fetish, where she is an ICON of scaryness!
